Progress Continues at MCAVMP

Marshall County Area Veterans Memorial Park has made great strides in the past 8 weeks. The photo indicates we are ready and waiting for the granite monuments, benches, bell and bellframe to arrive. Expectation is to have these initial pieces in place yet this fall. We continue working on grants and raising funds as we move to the next phase of the outdoor park. Thanks to all for supporting the project but most importantly for supporting our service men and women.- Russ Steer

MRVO HOSTS VISIT FROM AREA VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS

On October 10, the Middle River Veterans Outdoors organization welcomed two groups to visit their facilities. The CVMA (Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association) and the DAV Chapter 41 Commander and Adjutant, Jerald and Elizabeth Knutson were all on hand to tour the MRVO shed, equipment, and hunting locations. CVMA is a national organization with chapters in various places throughout the USA. This particular chapter is homebased in Minot ND.
