A grant was requested by the Middle River Veterans Outdoors organization to the Minnesota Extension Resilient Sustainable Development Partnership. The project plan listed on application for this grant reads as follows:
Aaron and Melissa Weil visited with concert goers following the outdoor concert. They travel extensively throughout the United States performing and organizing group activities. The good news is that they will also be the guest performers at the annual Goose Festival Community Church Service on September 26.

Our local Miss North Star will be departing for Miss Minnesota competition soon. Join us Sunday, June 13, at the First Lutheran Church in Middle River at 5:00 p.m. to send off your Miss North Star O’Brien Stromsodt. O’ Brien will be showcasing her talent piece, her wardrobe and speaking about her platform. During wardrobe changes there will be entertainment to enjoy by local celebrities. Afterwards there will be a coffee bar, punch and dessert as well as visiting with Miss North Star. Come and join in to wish Miss North Star O’Brien Good Luck as she represents our area at the 2021 Miss Minnesota Scholarship Competition.
