These were the lucky winners of hams and Easter raffle baskets following the afternoon bingo held at the Middle River Legacy Center. The event is an annual gathering held by the Middle River Youth Group as a fundraiser for an annual Mission Trip. This year the group will travel to Denver for volunteer work.

We recently got back from Minneapolis and had purchased some French bread at our favorite bread shop. But, unfortunately, it was too crunchy and dried up to eat. So, I decided to cube it up and make a traditional Italian panzanella bread salad. This can be made with store-bought French bread that is diced up, tossed in olive oil, and cooked to dry out. Simple ingredients with a punch of flavor!
The American Legion Auxiliary honored the American Legion on their National Legion birthday which is March 15, 1919. A special cake was shared by all as well as a delicious lunch.
