With the past week’s rainfall of over 5 inches, the Photo of the Week features a washed out county road 1 mile west of Middle River and the Woodman Cemetery 1 mile east of Middle River.
For Mother’s Day Eddie made me a breakfast of stuffed French toast, bacon and fresh fruit. He had a little help from his sous chef telling him how to make it, but he did it all by himself in the kitchen! It was so much fun too watch him maneuver his way through all the steps. I was a very proud mom.
Eddie had some friends over last night for games and dinner. I wanted to add a fun dessert to the menu. I created a Captain Crunch creme brulee for a catering event a few years ago and it was a hit. Who doesn’t love cereal milk!? I had my favorite, Fruity Pebbles, in the pantry, so I used those. Don’t let the name scare you. This is such an easy dessert to make! Use your favorite sugar cereal!!
