Rural Reflections

I recently had a chance to speak with Joe Lesmeister, from the Thief River Falls Trap Club. The Trap Club has provided a way to both focus and relax since its inception in 1982. I think these are two things we need right now, more than I can ever recall.I am neither a trap nor sporting clays participant. I did, at one time, have access to an indoor range and I would occasionally shoot paper targets. Target shooting requires focus which means you can’t think about much other than target shooting. I think a lot of us have too much on our minds and a task that requires your complete attention is a gift. The task may require the same amount of mental energy you use to multi-task however it creates energy instead of draining energy.
