Amya Stromsodt was a lucky blackout winner of a cash prize as well as a complimentary ticket to the 2022 Miss North Star Pageant. Presenting Amya’s prize was Miss North Star Topanga Brown and Miss Middle River Bella Burkel. A complimentary ticket to the 2022 Miss Middle River Pageant was also won by Addie Litzinger. The event was sponsored by the local pageant committee and held at the Legacy Center.

Santa will visit the children of Middle River on Saturday, December 4, from 10:30-12:30 at American Legion Post 444. Join Santa, Miss Middle River Bella Burkel, Miss North Star Topanga Brown and friends for a morning of fun Christmas cheer and crafts.
Viking Volcanoes met at the Craig and Emily Bakke residence on Sunday, November 21, for their monthly meeting. Following the meeting, 4-H members stuffed care baskets for the senior citizens of Viking to be given out December 11 at Viking’s Santa Day. 4-H members also made Christmas cards to include in the packages.
