Auctioneers Jason Rominski and Dale Svendsgaard, along with assistant Sammy Alme, kept the action rolling at the public auction held at the Middle River Park on April 9. This was the second year of the event sponsored by the Old Creamery for the benefit of the Middle River Legacy Center.

March 29 was “National Vietnam War Veterans Day.” Post 444 of Middle River honored local Veterans for their military service by serving pizza and refreshments during the afternoon and evening. Some veterans attending were Jim Wojtkiewicz, Roger Ryba, Earl Berg and Ed Gronewold. Thank you for your service!

Tyler Brazier has chosen a lifestyle of service as he belongs to the YWAM (Youth with a Mission), an international organization. In the picture above, Tyler says, “I recognized these guys were playing rummy, and though my Spanish wasn’t very good, I knew enough to ask if I could play and was able to have some limited conversations with them. I gained two new friends that day!”
