The Christmas blues are here for some. The blues take very different forms for those who suffer. I have been disappointed at Christmas but never had the blues. In my former life, I worked a lot of nights and weekends which sometimes meant I was not home for Christmas. This was disappointing but we always tried to make it work, it never made me feel bluesy.

They sat indiscriminately on the clearance rack marked down like a thousand percent from their initial price. Hand towels. Not your everyday, ordinary, run-of-the-mill hand towels. These happened to be emblazoned with the letter “P” as in the first letter of my last name. I contemplated my good fortune for a millisecond before tossing a pair in my cart.

Question: Are yellow speed signs on curves or busy locations enforceable? I’ve seen 60 mph white speed limit signs then a short distance later a yellow 50 mph sign. The yellow signs don’t say “limit” on them, so I would think going 60 mph in a yellow 50 mph zone isn’t illegal but not a good idea.
