Cynthia Levenhagen

Cynthia Mae Levenhagen, 58, passed away on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at her home in Thief River Falls, MN. She lost her battle with stage 4 cancer of which she was diagnosed in July 2021. Funeral services were held at 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Service in Thief River Falls, MN with Father Rick Lambert presiding. Visitation will be held one hour before the funeral service. Private family burial will be held at Riverside Cemetery near Middle River, MN at a later date.

Cyndy Levenhagen was born April 22, 1964 at Thief River Falls, MN, the daughter of John and Christine (Bukowski) Black. She was baptized and confirmed at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Middle River, MN. She grew up and attended school in Middle River, MN, and graduated from high school in 1982.

She was married to Troy Levenhagen of Lake Bronson, MN, on June 9, 1984 in Middle River, MN. Together they made their home in Wannaska, MN.

Cyndy was employed by: Marvin Windows, Warroad MN; Machine Well, Grygla, MN; Northern Pride Turkey Plant, Thief River Falls, MN.

Cyndy enjoyed dancing, gardening and planting her favorite flowers in the Spring – red geraniums, going fishing – catching the most fish with her pink and white lure, just being outside, and spending time with family and friends.

Cyndy Levenhagen is survived by sisters and brothers, Joann Black of Thief River Falls, MN, Patty Hoover Black Mulligan (Scott) of Thief River Falls, MN, Allen Black of Middle River, MN, Cathy (Mike) Schenkey of Middle River, MN, Barb (Lowell) Warne of Erskine, MN, Randy (Toni) Black of Tenstrike MN, friend and partner, Steve Wigand in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.

Cyndy was preceded in death by her husband Troy Levenhagen; parents, John and Christine Black; sister, Diane Walton, niece, Denise Beito; and nephew, Dustin Black.
