The Middle River Fire Hall was full of good smelling food and fun loving games as the Middle River Fire Department sponsored their annual Fireman’s Ball for the public. Maverick Gram, a bright and industrious member of the New Maine 4-H Club, has long admired the picturesque gazebo on Main Street in his hometown. The structure, which has provided shelter and a gathering spot for generations, had begun to show signs of wear and tear. Maverick decided to take action, and along with his Grandma Rhonda, he transformed the benches that are used in the gazebo.
