Could a Stipulation by the GMR School Board Hold the Middle River School Building Hostage?

Members of the GMR School Board Building and Grounds Committee and Superintendent Tom Jerome met with the Middle River City Council on July 23rd at 6pm in the Middle River City office. Present from the Building and Grounds Committee were Shane Kilen, Jeff Nelson and Brandon Kuznia. City Council members present were John Scheff, Josh Veselka, Kara Wagner, Mayor Mark Stromsodt and City Administrator Lyzette Olson. Council member Tom Super was absent.

The main topic of the meeting was the purchase of the Middle River School building. The Building and Grounds Committee wanted to know if the city was still interested in purchasing the building for $1.00, indicating that they would like to move the purchase of the building as is as soon as possible.
