The Action was FAST & Furious!

Smoke and dust flew as cars left the starting line at the Middle River Baja races. There were drivers from as far away as Little Falls and International Falls.

And the race is on! Dave Mugas drops the green flag for the start of one of the many heats during the Baja races held at the Legacy Center in Middle River. There was an impressive 96 cars signed up for the action, the most cars involved in a Baja race in this region that anyone can remember.

On Friday, prior to the race, Robbi Peterson levels the track. Much planning/organization and many hours of preparation goes into an effort of this enormity. Committee members responsible for the success of the Middle River Baja include Robbi Peterson, Tanner Peterson, Dakota Gullikson, Diane Wappula, Cody Olafson, Austin Scheff, Jay Wappula, David Mugaas, Mark Stromsodt, Laurie Stromsodt, Tiffany Stromsodt and Mathew Stromsodt. The Middle River Legacy Committee also assisted.
