Laura Dunning has created another beautiful denim quilt for this year’s Goose Festival raffle for the Middle River Community Club. It is displayed at Border State Bank and tickets are available for sale at all businesses in Middle River.

Holt Keenagers recently held their August meeting. After a potluck meal, three members tied on a quiz of Baby Boomer’s trivia. Kathy Wagner won by a drawing and the question she missed was: What was the most popular car in the world in the late 1950’s? A. Ford Continental B. Buick Roadmaster C. Volkswagen D. Chevy Bel Air. Everyone enjoyed the trip the Jasper’s Theater in Park Rapids featuring 50s music. DelRay Sannes and Dale Cole were celebrating August birthdays.
