It Was an Extravaganza… To Say the Least

By definition, the word E - TR AVAGANZ A means: an elaborate and spectacular entertainment or production. In my opinion, the 24th Annual Middle R iver E xtravaganza held on March 16, 2019 at the American Legion lived up to that billing.

I turned 40 this year. If my math is correct, I could have been attending this event for the past 20 years. Boy, have I missed out! Middle R iver nailed yet another event. Here is my take on this awesome event.

sually getting tickets to events in larger cities ( like Bismarck, NDI knowmany cities under 100,000 people aren’t looked at as large!) isn’t a very big deal. When I was asked by Kara Super-Peterson to attend the E xtravaganza, I nonchalantly said “ ok.” Little did I know that tickets were going to be hard to come by. A few days later, Tom Super called and said, “ are you sure you are coming home this weekend and want tickets? I have a bead on a few of them, but I need an answer…r ight now!” This piqued my interest BIG TIME ! I was going, and I needed a 1. The lucky taker of my 2nd ticket was my favorite son ( and only son) , Chase.
