Lew Wallace elected President of MN Gladiolus Society
Lew Wallace was elected president of the Minnesota Gladiolus Society at their November meeting. Lew has tremendous examples to follow in executing his new role, but he has the strength and support of the society’s membership behind him. He recently wrote, “Our Minnesota Gladiolus Society is strong... we all participate. We show up both for the fun stuff and the hard stuff. Our members step forward to lead committees, auctions, chair shows, set up shows, fill spike containers, design, and arrange our favorite flower, organize food and picnics. I know we will never go hungry. Best of all we welcome new members and get to know them, we become friends.” Lew and his wife Tammy joined the MN Gladiolus Society in 1996 and have been active members ever since. They have both won numerous awards for their flower arranging and are always willing to share their knowledge and assist others in learning how to arrange. Lew and Tammy are tireless in their efforts to increase the interest and use of glads. 2023-03-03 11:00 PM

Tri-County EMS receives Award for Clinical Excellence
The Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board (EMSRB) is pleased to announce the special recognition of 95 ambulance services across all of Minnesota for providing outstanding prehospital clinical care in 2022. According to Dylan Ferguson, Executive Director of the Emergency Medical Services Regulatory Board, “in early 2022, working with EMS physicians from across the state the EMSRB established multiple clinical advisory performance measures that could be used to benchmark and highlight the wonderful prehospital care that Minnesotans receive every day from our dedicated EMTs and Paramedics.” The measures evaluated looked specifically at the quality of patient care in cases of strokes, chest pain, trauma, and pediatrics. 2023-02-24 11:00 PM
