The Middle River Legion Auxiliary Unit 444 once again hosted a "Tree Lighting" event at the Legion Memorial Park on November 29. The beautifully decorated Memorial and Christmas tree added a bright and festive aura to downtown Middle River. Those joining in the lighting festivities began with the singing of Christmas Carols led by Mary Ann Lunsetter. Then with a countdown from the group, the beautiful lights sprang to life in the early darkness of the cool evening.
