For the second consecutive year Dominik Vacura stood on top of the winner’s stand at the Minnesota State Wrestling Tournament. He wrestled his way to the championship by defeating Brennon Hoffman of Medford, Fall 2:49; Mason Rummell of Springfield, Fall 3:13; Shane Noyes of Canby, SV-1 6-4; and Dylan Jergensen of Minnewauska Area, Dec 7-0. The Gator Girls Basketball team is pictured with their Section 8A West Sub-Section Championship trophy after defeating Red Lake Falls, Warren-Alvarado-Oslo, and Red Lake County Central in the Sectional Tournament. MCC Freeze Hoops celebrated the youth ball players this past Sunday at an end of the year MCC Freeze Hoops Party for 3rd through 6th graders. Free throw contests, 3 on 3 games, and a lightening shootout were some of the fun events. Awards and treats were given out also.
