Adam Benke scored the 1,000th point of his high school career on Tuesday, February 16 at the Swamp at the GMR School. He came to the sidelines to greet his parents, Jeff and Dawn Benke, following this accomplishment.

This year Freeze Hoops, the MCC Elementary youth basketball program, purchased youth basketballs for grades K-2 in Viking, helped with the purchases of face masks for the 7-12 grade Freeze Girls & Boys Basketball Players and Coaches, purchased uniforms for the junior high boys team and over $600 in equipment for the girls basketball team. Each year this organization donates back to our basketball program grade K-12. Kayla Nelson, Freeze Hoops Coordinator is pictured with Brian Longerbone, MCC Athletic Director with the check of $3218.07 for these items for our Freeze Basketball Teams. Go Freeze!!
