The annual Middle River Community Theatre Drama Camp for grades K-3 was recently held with a final performance of “The Beginning of the Armadillos” presented to the public on Friday, July 30. The button features the new caboose gifted to the Middle River Community Theatre, with donor Frank Nesbit named as the Grand Marshal for the festival parade. This is going to be a hot item for Goose Fest this year as the number of buttons ordered has been cut in half - don’t miss out! St. Joseph’s Catholic Parish in Middle River was filled to capacity as Fr. George Noel presided over a celebratory mass commemorating 100 years of parish ministry. The Cathy Erickson band provided music for the polka mass. Following mass, a picnic lunch was served along with music, visiting, and sharing of memories.
