Middle River Summer Rec

The 2017 Middle River Summer Rec program is once again going strong. 2 new coaches, Cindy Brandon and Easton Olson along with 34 eager baseball players come every Tuesday and Thursday for practice to the Middle River School ball diamond. Games are played on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays for 6 weeks. Last Friday we played host to Lancaster. What a great bunch of kids! Their coach, Drew Olsonawski, had only 7 Small Fries but needed 10 for a team. As we have 21 Small Fries, enough for 2 teams, 3 of our girls, Ireland Klausen, Jayden Peterson and Heleana Peterson volunteered to be part of the Lancaster team rather than have them forfeit the game. In the sea of red tshirts were 3 little blue ones in the out field.
