Migration of the Ruby-throated Hummingbird

If you venture outside during the spring for a walk you can hear the chatter of the birds. They are arriving from their winter homes. Going outside in the winter and listen for birds and you won’t hear much. But as the days of spring come it gets noisier and noisier as the birds are happily singing their joy of arriving here.

One bird we all love to see in the summer is the Ruby-throated Hummingbird. It is a marvelous little bird not only in how it can fly and hover next to a flower, but it’s migration is something to study.
