Gary Hodne

Gary Hodne of Newfolden, MN, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017 at Altru Hospital in Grand Forks, ND, with his family by his side,at the age of 80.Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 16,2017 at 2:00 PM at Westeker Free Lutheran Church in Newfolden, MN with Pastor Phil Rokke officiatin. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery, Newfolden, MN. Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM with a 7:00 PM Prayer Service on Friday December 15,2017 at Westaker Free Lutheran Church in Newfolden . Visitation will also take place one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday at the church Gary James Marvin Hodne was born on July 6, 1937 in Karlstad, MN, the son of Hardin and Alice (Torkelson) Hodne. He was baptized and confirmed at the Hegland Lutheran Church near Karlstad, Gary attended school in Karlstad and graduated in 1955. Following high school Gary worked in the telephone construction in various states.
