Galen Joseph Leintz went to be with the Lord at 7:35 PM on November 29, 2025. He was born in Harvey, North Dakota on March 16, 1942, to Joe & Hilda Leintz. He graduated from Anamoose High School in 1961 and moved to Minot North Dakota to find work. There he met the love of his life (Louise Odden) and they were married on December 16th, 1962. They began life together in Minot and Galen started a career in the Grocery business. He worked for Red Owl Food Stores in Minot, Bismarck, and Moorhead. In 1976 they purchased their first small store in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. They worked together in the grocery business until 2002 when they decided to retire to Florida. Galen and Louise were avid motorcyclists taking many trips all over the United States. They enjoyed nearly 55 years of marriage before Louise passed away on October 29, 2017. Galen moved back to Bagley in February of 2025 to be closer to family.
