Middle River Insurance Agency Finds a New Home on Main Street

The Middle River Insurance Agency has officially opened its doors to its new home on Main Street Middle River. The owners of the business are the father-son duo, Steve and Nate Muzzy, with Nate being the on-site manager. Nate Muzzy is not only a new business person on Main Street Middle River - he is also a new resident. And that residence is also on Main Street located on the second floor of his insurance business. And this building is not just any building - it is the former Rex Cafe which is a well known restaurant and one of the city’s first businesses that was built in 1924.

“I feel like living above the Rex is a bit of a right of passage in Middle River,” said Nate. “I’ve met so many people who lived there at one time or another.”

The original Rex building was totally renovated to encompass this business. The lower level consists of the business necessities, including a spacious waiting room, a large private office for Nate, two large restrooms, a large back storage area, and of course a coffee station!
