Emma Anderson
Emma Anderson was born and baptized on October 20, 1925, in Grygla, MN to Ole and Eli (Moslet) Aune growing up on the family farm in Gatzke, MN. Emma and sister Evie attended Old Ironside Elementary school. Emma was confirmed August 21, 1941, at First Lutheran Church of Gatzke. Emma graduated from Crookston High School and then attended Business College in Grand Forks, ND. Emma and Elsie worked for 1 year at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle during WWII. Himmy Anderson and Emma were married in Thief River Falls, MN on October 12, 1946, making their home in Middle River.

What to Do When It’s Spring But Winter Doesn’t Get It The issue of climate to me is not whether it is warmer or colder. It just seems longer to me. I am tired of each season well before the next season arrives. The seasons are no longer obeying their boundaries and have begun to slide into each other. This winter is a prime example as it refuses to go quietly into that good night.
