GMR Approves Recapturing Under-levied Funds
A two-decimal error spelled the difference in the Greenbush-Middle River District receiving $204,782.63 in levy funds from Kittson and Marshall counties over the last two payable tax years–fiscal year 2022 and 2023. At the GMR School Board’s January 22 meeting, Roseau County admitted the mistake on its end. The board approved receiving these under-levied funds from Roseau County in one payment as soon as possible–not spread-out over time, as was another option. 2024-02-09 11:00 PM

Central Boiler Companies Distributes over $1,178,000 in Bonuses among Employees
Central Boiler Companies (which includes subsidiaries: Central Boiler, Altoz, and WoodMaster) celebrated the 31st consecutive year of employee bonus distribution on November 2 at their Greenbush facility. The bonus, along with the company’s contributions to the employee 401K accounts, totaled $1,178,075.35. This amount is in addition to any commissions, weekly 401K matches, hiring bonuses or performance bonuses that were distributed throughout the year.Additionally, at bonus, the company matched 100% of the first 15% of the contributions employees made to their 401K accounts from their bonuses. 2024-02-09 11:00 PM

Jeff Dahl, originally from Newfolden MN, Class of 1982 graduate, has had a unique coaching path, with many stops along the way. However, one guarantee is that his name would be known by anyone within a 100 mile - if not 200 mile - radius as one of the best coaches in the area. His passion goes much beyond just the wins, as he really has developed hundreds of lifelong connections, including unique relationships with refs. Jeff lives in Keokuk, Iowa with his wife Donna.
