Memorial Day 2023 American Legion Post # 444 MiddleRiver

Hans E. Lian Post 444 Legion members presented a beautiful Memorial Day program to honor and remember the service and sacrifice of the men and women that have given their lives for our country. (from Left to Right) Commander Elroy Aune welcomed everyone to the program, Chaplain Howard Lunsetter led everyone in prayer and Pat Hanson, Unit 444 Auxiliary President read “So Go and Run Free”. Russ Steer gave a moving speech, sharing his brother’s struggles with PTSD after serving in Viet Nam, and reminding the crowd of the help and support we can give to the veterans that need it most.
