Alaura Klegstad is pictured with Eri and Nicolette Housey who were students at a crochet workshop at the Middle River Legacy Center last week. Alaura is a professional seamstress and costume designer based out of the Legacy Center. She plans on having a few more crochet classes this winter for beginner and intermediate crafters on how to crochet cotton dish cloths, eco-friendly makeup rounds, and more advanced stitches and patterns. Cost of the class is $10 per person. She says her door is always open to students if assistance is needed in the middle of a project. Check out a future Honker of the Legacy website on more information on Alaura and her artistic endeavors.
