On September 27, three area Lions clubs held a joint 50th anniversary celebration at the Red Lake Falls American Legion. The three clubs included Plummer, Red Lake Falls, and Winger. Winger Lions incorporated November 5, 1974, Red Lake Falls September 22, 1975, and Plummer October 10, 1975. The three clubs represent over 150 year of service to their communities and beyond. The clubs adhere to Lions Clubs International motto is; 'WE SERVE'.
