10th ranked Bearcats take down Eagles in an exciting five set match

Thursday, September 18th, the Red Lake Falls Eagles Volleyball team traveled to Lancaster to take on the defending Section 8A Champions and current 10th State Ranked KCC Bearcats. The Eagles came ready to play that night! They played with composure, focus, enthusiasm, and grit! The Eagles lost a close first set 2325. Then, the Eagles started slow while the Bearcats were on fire, overcame a 3-17 deficit, but came back too late in a 15-25 loss in set two. RLF found their confidence, played strong, and took the third set 25-18. The fourth set was another battle between the teams with the Eagles earning a 25-22 win! The fifth and final set went point by point with great plays by each team. The Eagles couldn’t answer a couple of Bearcat attacks and lost 10-15. This was an exciting and well played match to play and watch!
