When I started this column, I had planned to only write about my homesteading journey— recipes, tips, and that sort of thing. But for me, it’s turned into more of a journal. I’ve had lots of feedback that this is how people have gotten to know me better. Some of you have known me my whole life, and some have only just met me through this newspaper venture.
