As I sit here surrounded by school supply lists, sports schedules, and a faint memory of what summer felt like with the leave color changes already taking place, I can’t help but take a deep breath and brace for what’s coming. With four teenagers—15 and up—and one homeschooled elementary student, I know life is about to get busy in a hurry. And while I’m all for a good burger at the local restaurant or a popping in a frozen pizza (or in my case probably 4-5 but have you priced those lately!?), I also know that if we want to stay grounded, I need to cook meals at home.
