Former Hillcrest Nursing Home employees, whose years of service spanned from 1965 to 2014, reunited recently for an evening filled with fellowship, laughter, and heartfelt reminiscing. Some of these dedicated staff members worked through all three ownership eras — Red Lake County, Riverview, and the current owners, Jim and Kathy Birchem of Eldercare of Minnesota. Several have an impressive longevity, serving under all three.
