At the recent Miss Minnesota Orientation event, members from throughout the state were recognized for their years of dedication to the Miss America Scholarship Program. Kara Super-Peterson of Breezy Point, Miss North Star and Miss Glacial Waters Director, was honored for her 20 years of service and KayDell Super of Middle River was honored for her 40 years of service with the Miss Marshall County, Miss North Star, and Miss Glacial Waters programs. It is a common practice for the Miss America state organizations to recognize the dedication of committee members with pins or other forms of recognition. These pins serve as a visual reminder of their contributions to this scholarship program and its activities.
