The Greenbush-Middle River FCCLA traveled to the state conference to bring home the gold. The FCCLA State Conference was held in Bloomington, Minnesota on March 27-30. Competing at the state level was Kaeleigh Anderson who received a Gold in Professional Presentation, Sascha Melby who received a Gold and was a National Call Back in Professional Presentation, Mya Bennett who received a Gold and is a National Advancer in Repurpose and Redesign, Kayle Vacura who received a Gold and is a National Advancer in Interior Design, and Audrey Gust who received a Gold and is a National Advancer in Public Policy Advocate.
Brylie Kjersten attended the state conference as a voting delegate and served as a judge for the event 'Hospitality and Tourism' at the state conference. Audrey Gust also served as a judge for the event 'Career Investigation' at the state conference. This group of leaders also enjoyed the production of 'Grease' at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater.
Mya Bennett, Kayle Vacura and Audrey Gust will be competing at the FCCLA National Conference in Orlando, Florida July 5-9.
