Middle River Veterans Outdoors recently sponsored 13 veterans to participate in an exciting pheasant hunt at McCollum’s Hunting Preserve in Bejou, MN. The event featured a European-style hunt that hosted a total of 30 veteran hunters.
The day was filled with camaraderie, outdoor recreation, and memorable moments, thanks to the outstanding hospitality of Terry and the team McCollum’s as well as those who provided hunting dogs and the many generous sponsors who helped make it all possible.
Organized by Randy Larson and Jason Cervantes, the event reflects the mission of Middle River Veterans Outdoors—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to offering no-cost outdoor recreation opportunities to all veterans. From fishing to hunting and shooting sports, including the organization’s signature event, the “Middle River Disabled Veterans Goose Hunt,” the group is committed to serving veterans year-round.
