The Old Creamery Open for the Season

The Old Creamery Open for the Season

Spring must be here, because The Old Creamery in Middle River is officially open as of Wednesday, April 2nd. After being closed for the winter since the first of the year, owner Heidi Garry is excited to open her doors to shoppers and vendors alike.

The store offers a wide array of antiques, home decor, gifts and boutique, with most items being made in Minnesota. In the past, the shop has hosted a bracelet-making class, barnwood quilt painting class, wreath-making class, and even a charcuterie board event with Hooked Up Catering.

The Old Creamery is looking for vendors ready to host events, teach classes, and connect with locals in a unique, local space.

Started in 2020, The Old Creamery has managed to keep running through a pandemic, a flood, and road closures and is still going strong. “GooseFest is always huge for us. We bring in live music and vendors, then we do Trash the Dress for MDS. It’s a good time,” Garry remarks.

But she’s is always looking for fun things to do at the store. She as her regular vendors that come back each season, but she wants to find those niche crafts for people to try out. If you have an idea or know a local artist who likes to teach, reach out to Heidi at (218)689-4218 or find her at The Old Creamery Wednesday through Friday from 10 AM to 5 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM to 3 PM.
