Spring is in the air, and Klasen’s Greenhouse is ready to welcome plant lovers once again when they open their doors on May 1st. With daily hours from 9 AM to 8 PM through the end of June, there’s plenty of time to stop by and explore everything they have to offer this season.
If you’re a fan of perennials, you’re in for a treat—Klasen’s Greenhouse has tripled their selection this year! Whether you’re looking to refresh your landscaping or add to your garden, you’ll find an expanded variety to choose from. In addition, they’ve increased their selection of houseplants and succulents, perfect for both seasoned plant lovers and beginners alike.
Beyond the greenhouse, Klasen’s Flower Farm offers locally grown, fresh-cut flowers to brighten up any space. Their bouquet subscriptions are a customer favorite, available in spring, summer, and fall, with weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly pickup options. You can grab your blooms at the greenhouse or at several convenient locations, including Brewhaha Coffee Shop in Newfolden, Sara Jane Boutique in Thief River Falls, The Old Creamery in Middle River, and Simply Boutique in Warren (monthly only). Looking for something custom? They also create floral arrangements for weddings, baby showers, bridal showers, and other special occasions.
This spring, Klasen’s Greenhouse is hosting several workshops and events for garden enthusiasts. On April 17th, they’ll be at Rivers and Rails Brewing Company for a Spring Planter Workshop, followed by an Early Bird Planter Workshop on April 30th at the greenhouse in partnership with MCC Community Education. Mother’s Day weekend brings their annual Hanging Basket Sale, where customers can buy one, get one half off hanging baskets (limit one sale special per customer). Then, on June 5th from 4 PM to 9 PM, Garden Fest will take place, featuring food trucks, local vendors, music, and more.
Klasen’s Greenhouse isn’t just a spring and summer destination. With seasonal products and events planned for fall and winter, there will be even more to look forward to throughout the year. To stay updated, visit klasensgreenhouse.com, follow them on Facebook and Instagram, or sign up for their email newsletter.
There are several greenhouse options in the area! Stay tuned for weekly features of all! What a better way to plan for the season is to gear up for a full day started off with a cup of coffee, greenhouse jumping to all local businesses and ending the day with a warm bite to eat at one of our local restaurants!
