The Badger Greenbush-Middle River Gators traveled to the 2023 State Volleyball Tournament for the third time in three years as the Section 8A Champion. They would face a very strong Mabel-Canton team in the opening round, falling in defeat 0-3. In the consolation round played the next day they would meet the Ely Wolves and fall 1-3 to end their state journey for this year. STATS FOR THE GATOR State appearance:
