Gator Wrestlers Hit the Mat!

The new season began with assistant coaches Brandon Waage and Cody Brazier traveling with the Junior Varsity for a scrimmage in Park Rapids. They all wrestled very well on Friday and then went on to meet the varsity team to wrestle all day in Wadena with the following varsity placing results: Champions - Andy Dostal, Dominik Vacura 2nd: Garrett Undeberg, Zach Evans 4th: Danon Janousek, Tony Olson 5th: Ethan Waage, Dawson Beito

The Gator’s next wrestling tournament is the weekend of December 6th & 7th at the Sertoma Tournament in Grand Forks.

First year coach Isaac Novacek commented, “I thought our guys wrestled very tough against some top notch competition! We need to continue to make strides forward and improve everyday.”
