Fall Sports Meeting for BGMR Gators

Badger-Greenbush-Middle River Gator fall sports are back in action starting August 12. Cheer team, 9th-12th grade football and 9th-12th grade volleyball practice will be from 7:00-10:00 a.m. at GMR. 7th-8th grade volleyball will be 7:15-9:45 in Badger. Transportation leaves Middle River at 6:30 and Badger at 6:45 a.m. Athletes are encouraged to be early to avoid missing a ride. BGMR is in a girls' swimming sports pairing with Roseau and Warroad, and that practice also begins August 12. Swimmers provide their own transportation.

7th and 8th grade football starts August 19 at 7:00 a.m. in Greenbush. Players will get their equipment that day, then other days 7th-8th grade football practice will be in Badger.

The Minnesota State High School League requires athletes to have a physical at least every three years, so this is typically 7th and 10th graders or any first-time athletes. Physicians must complete a form which can be printed from the Badger or GMR school websites, or the Minnesota State High School League website.
