We have all experienced cultural changes, mostly due to the pandemic. One of these changes had already started and only accelerated in the last few years. A recent article in the Wall Street Journal even talked about; it’s called “deglobalization.” The opposite of this phenomena is globalization where you can get anything from anywhere.

I recently had a Sunday like the Sunday everyone needs; it was part fun, part relaxing, part invigorating and all healing. It gave me such a good feeling that I have some to spare with you. I like to awake early, even on the weekends. Sunday morning I slept in until about 5 am which, after a quick tally, meant I had just slept a full eight hours. The weekday beats us all up a little and the weekend is the time to sleep the soreness (mental or physical) away. I then got a few hours of writing and coffee-drinking in before Lisa came downstairs to join me.
