Badger High School Band is Honored by Minnesota School Board Association

The Badger Concert Band was selected to provide the entertainment for the opening ceremonies of the Minnesota School Board Association annual conference on January 17th at the Minneapolis Convention Center. Only one performing group in the entire state is chosen to play on the first day of the convention for school board members and administrators. Superintendent Tom Jerome got the ball rolling by entering recordings of the Badger band last spring. Mr. Jerome commented on this honor: “Congratulations to the Badger Band and Director Ms. Lisa Erickson. On January 17th, 2019 the Badger Band was featured and performed during the opening ceremonies of the 98th Minnesota School Board Association Annual Leadership Conference. The Minnesota School Board Association, after listening to submitted recordings and reviewing references as well applications from schools throughout Minnesota, selected the Badger Band.
